It's worth getting away and spending time in a Trump-free zone. We cats spent the entire day at the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal, enjoying four (count 'em) mini "Classical Spree" concerts, plus a free performance of Dvorak's New World Symphony by a youth orchestra in a nearby shopping mall. Fabulous!
It all ended with Beethoven's third piano concerto, performed by the OSM and a gifted soloist — and we are in heaven.
Our day was a refreshing respite from worrying about the future of democracy, and a welcome reminder that there are brilliant and talented people in the world — not just Trumpsters, cretins and reprobates. Civilization may survive after all. We cats PURR.
