The both-sides, so-called-mainstream-media will try to spin this story into some sort of Democratic apocalypse, of course. But Attorney General Letitia James saying "Actually, never mind" on running for New York Governor is welcome news.
Not because we don't like her. We think she's great! We were just not looking forward to having to choose between her and Kathy Hochul. It was going to be tough.
Besides, as James herself has said, "There are multiple important investigations and cases that are underway, and I intend to finish the job." That includes going after Donald Trump, so yay!
Unlike what the talking heads are bound to say — because they like to gin up gloom and doom for ratings — less intra-party fighting is always a positive development. So let's keep it between Republicans, in places like Georgia and Pennsylvania. We cats PURR.
