Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter was laid to rest in Plains, Georgia, today. "In his eulogy, Pastor Tony Lowden noted Mrs. Carter’s famous
competitive streak," The Washington Post reports. "He joked, to
laughter from the church, that she would say of heaven: 'Jimmy tried to
beat me here. I got here first. I've won the prize. Tell him I beat him,
and I’m waiting on him.'" We cats PURR.
