A hundred years ago this coming week, a young Franklin Delano Roosevelt contracted polio. The disease forged the President that America ultimately came to know and rely on through a Great Depression and a World War.
Since then, we conquered polio with a miraculous vaccine. FDR would be disgusted if he could come back today and see the Trumpster idiots who refuse to get the COVID shot. We cats HISS.
