Mad Mitt Loses Marbles

We cats are known for howling. And today we're doing it at former Governor Mitt Romney, for his laughable speech last night about "liberal Washington."

Apparently Governor Romney is so furious at being passed over for Vice President — or he's so desperate to co-op Senator Obama's mantra for change — that he's been struck by a serious bout of amnesia. Who's been in charge of the U.S. government for most of the last eight years?

Somehow, we don't think that torture would have been authorized in a liberal Washington.

We don't think people would be held in Guantanamo without charge in a liberal Washington.

We don't think that the government would concoct a phony, illegal invasion of a sovereign nation in a liberal Washington.

We don't think the President would have circumvented the law with signing statements in a liberal Washington.

We don't think a liberal Washington would have ignored PDBs titled, "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Within U.S."

And we don't think that warrantless wiretapping on U.S. citizens would have been authorized in a liberal Washington.

We could go on and on, but you get the idea. In the meantime, we cats HISS in derision at Governor Romney — and dump our dirty litter boxes in his temple's Sunday collection plate.
