Palin Cut Funds for Teen Moms
Covenent House Alaska is a series of programs meant to help troubled young people, including a transitional home for unwed pregnant teens. Using her line-item veto power, Governor Palin — in her own handwriting and placing her initials next to her changes — cut its approved 2008 funding by 20 percent.
