So, um, not to be rude or unkind to the ladies and gentlemen of the media or anything, but we seem to recall that last week, they were twisted up like pretzels over the FEUD! between THE OBAMA CAMPAIGN! and THE CLINTONS!
Any one of the — how many were there, five? — PUMAs whom reporters could chase down in Denver became the subject of breathless interviews and 24-hour blather. Surely this was proof of a HUGE! RIFT! IN! THE! DEMOCRATIC! PARTY!
What a difference a week makes. Ten thousand people jam the Target Convention Center in Minneapolis for the Ron Paul counter-convention, but does this constitute a rift? Eh, not so much.
Where are those slavering pundits, those talking heads whose every prediction for Democratic disaster last week proved false?
We cats HISS at them. Even after all these years, they let their emotion about the Clintons cloud their coverage.
